Students' rules in school. / Friday, April 22, 2011 @ 4:52 AM
School rules - Something which are usually hated by most students as they stop students for doing what they like and keeps them disciplined. Rules are a very important part of school life and every student would like to change the school rules so they could have fun. Should rules be decided by students who are only yearning for fun and joy childhood in school? Many students go to school yearning for fun and making friends but detest doing the load of homework. However, school is created so that students could go to school and be disciplined and provides them with the adequate education which they need. If students are able to have their own rules, they will only be going to school to have fun and the purpose of school will be fruitless. School rules reflect the discipline and image of the students inside and outside the school, if the school rules are able to be changed freely by the students, the students will all be very rowdy without any moral as there are no 'laws' for them to abide to. This way, when the students are outside with their uniform on, they will be making a fool out of themselves and the reputation of their school will be tarnished. Most importantly, this will affect the moral of the students when they grow up. They will not be able to adapt to the world where laws are introduced and will be getting into trouble all the time. Teenagers attending school are the period of time when they are most probably very rebellious. So it is really important to discipline them well in school and at home. If we let them have their own way, they will not be able to understand whether what they are doing is right or wrong. Therefore, we mustn't let them have their own way in choosing the rules while they are in school. This will allow them to live the life they want and will likely take the wrong step in life and will go astray. Students are now at a teenage age and they should be disciplined well in school and be taught the correct morals and attitude in life. Therefore, matured adults like teachers should be controlling and disciplining them and not let them have their own way of life. Therefore, students should not be able to decide their own rules.
