The main arguement that Jin Rogers us trying to make is that America is longer providing the best education in the world although it contains many renowned universities and that the asia's economy is going to be stronger and therefore it is very important that the education provides a hoslictic education such as being bilingual so that we will be able to converse well with the chinese and prevent language barrier when conversing or trading with them.
Jim rogers made the effort to bring his children to singapore for its hoslistic education and studied in Nanyang primary. He's trying to develop his children into a global kid so that he will be able to work well with other people and also gain more knowledge about chinese language.
I agree with Jim Rogers view as i believe the economy is going to be very strong in the East Asia, therefore it is important to learn chinese to converse so that our children are able to converse with them when they grow up. It is also very important to be bilingual in the competitive economy so that you can have an edge over your competitors when it come to talking business with the chinese.
In conclusion, have a binlingual education is indeed very important in the 21st century, and that the next generation should have the basic communication skills such as binlingaulism or they will cripple and lose out.
